TIDES HOTEL

Great location and comfortable!

We stayed three nights at the Tides Hotel - two nights prior to a five-day walking trek with Wilson's Abel Tasman and one night upon our return. Of the two rooms, we stayed we especially liked the Riverside Studio Spa Shower room on the ground floor with view of the water. The bed and shower were very comfortable and the hotel is well situated in walking distance of gardens, the town, many great restaurants. We especially appreciated having access to laundry facilities on each floor.

“ Amazing place with the best restaurant!

I have just spent 5 nights at the magnificent Tides Hotel in Nelson, NZ. It has been the most delightful experience ~ from the first moment I arrived. The staff, my gorgeous room opening right to the river, and the absolute highlight is the restaurant here. The menu is filled with all local products - including the best cheese I may have ever eaten. I could not get enough and I have been a chef for 27 years !!! Amazing food with top top quality and service. The staff were very knowledgeable and directed me to the best dishes every time. A true pleasure to have been here !”​

"We made a spontaneous booking here after staying here about 4 years ago. Our stay there then was good but we were impressed with the refresh that it has had of the decor, branding and rooms. Room was perfect with what we needed, clean, and a lovely view of the river. As well as at a very reasonable price! Perfect walking distance to Nelson City which was what we needed."
