Risk Disclosure Statement

At The Tides Hotel, we strive to ensure the safety and well-being of all our guests. However, it's important for guests to recognize and acknowledge certain inherent risks associated with staying at our establishment, which includes access to a restaurant and a swimming pool. Please carefully review the following risk disclosure statement:

1. Swimming Pool Risks:

   • Drowning Hazard: Guests are advised to swim at their own risk and under proper supervision, especially for children and non-swimmers.

   • Slip and Fall: Wet surfaces around the pool area can be slippery. Guests should exercise caution when walking around the pool deck to avoid slip and fall accidents.

   • Health Risks: Although our pool is regularly maintained and treated with chemicals to ensure water quality, there is still a risk of contracting waterborne illnesses. Guests with open wounds or infections are advised to refrain from using the pool.

2. Restaurant Risks:

   • Food Allergies: Our restaurant prepares a variety of dishes, some of which may contain common allergens such as nuts, dairy, gluten, etc. Guests with food allergies or sensitivities are encouraged to inform our staff to accommodate their dietary needs.

   • Foodborne Illness: While we maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards in our kitchen, there is always a risk of foodborne illnesses. Guests should consume food at their own discretion and report any concerns to the staff immediately.

   • Fire and Safety: In the event of a fire or other emergency, guests should familiarize themselves with evacuation procedures posted in guest rooms and common areas.

   • Health Risks: Guests should be aware of their own health conditions and limitations when using hotel facilities. It's advisable to consult with a physician before engaging in strenuous activities or using amenities such as the swimming pool.

4. Property Damage or Loss: Guests are responsible for the care of their personal belongings and any damage caused to hotel property due to negligence or intentional acts.
